G-VAC AS Slim
Slim design for tight gripping spaces

In bin picking, the problem is often not the suction cup, but the gripper mounted above it.
The G-VAC AS Slim was developed for applications where lateral installation space is limited. With its slim design and suction cup connection positioned close to the edge, it can pick up or set down small workpieces even close to the walls of containers.
An integrated electric vacuum pump stabilizes the vacuum as needed, without compressed air.
- Suction cup connection close to the edge
- Integrated vacuum pump
- Active vacuum stabilization
- For fast gripping and release cycles
When every millimeter counts
Especially in boxes, trays, or during bin picking, workpieces are often located directly against a wall or in a corner. A wide gripper body then prevents the suction cup from getting close enough to the workpiece.
The G-VAC AS Slim specifically reduces this lateral installation space.
The narrow geometry also allows multiple grippers to be arranged close together, for example, for compact gripper arrays with multiple suction points.
For largely non-porous surfaces
Like the G-VAC AS, the AS Slim also uses a local electric pump.
It compensates for limited leakage and stabilizes the vacuum. The pump capacity is not designed for highly porous materials or applications requiring a continuously high air flow rate.
Typical applications:
- Bin picking of small workpieces
- Gripping close to container walls
- Filling boxes and trays
- Compact multi-gripper systems
- Tightly arranged gripper arrays
