Typical components include compressors, vacuum ejectors, and compressed air lines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This infrastructure results in:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>High energy costs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Compressed air network leaks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>High maintenance costs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>High noise levels<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A new principle of vacuum generation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video image-left\"><video height=\"1072\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 608 \/ 1072;\" width=\"608\" autoplay loop muted src=\"http:\/\/nititec-gripper.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/gewichtsclip-hochrunter.mp4\" playsinline><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The G-VAC utilizes a new method of vacuum generation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The movement in the gripper is by <strong>Shape memory actuators made of nickel-titanium (NiTi)<\/strong> generates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These so-called <strong>Shape Memory Alloy Actuators<\/strong> change their length when electrically activated. This movement is used to generate vacuum within the gripper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The system requires only:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a <strong>control signal<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a 24-V power supply<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The possibilities of this new drive principle<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The elimination of pneumatics fundamentally changes the design of a gripping solution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Elimination of the compressed air system<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The gripper only requires an electrical supply. Compressors, Venturi nozzles, and compressed air lines are no longer needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Negligible energy consumption<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Energy is only required during suction and release.
